Alison is a Kerrville Newfolk Regional Finalist, performing at the Ballad Tree in May of 2013. She was a Kerrville Newfolk Finalist in 2012. Her song "Ocean Meets the Sky" placed in the 2010 Austin Songwriters Group 'singer-songwriter' category.
Chrissie's song "My Home, My Dream" received an honorable mention in the Woody Guthrie Songwriting Competition in 2010, and her song "Dear Joshua"received an honorable mention in the Austin Songwriters Group Competition that same year.
